This month, the Women’s Center would like to highlight Cydney Delley, who is a student-athlete and an advocate for racial justice on campus. In wake of the Black Lives Matter Movement this past summer, Delley worked with other Wake Forest students to foster change in our community, with their main goals being to increase education on racial biases, prejudices, and privileges, and encourage dialogue between students and staff members centered around those same topics. She also paved the way for the mandate of diversity, equity, and inclusion training for student-athletes, coaches, and staff. The Women’s Center would like to thank Cydney for her commitment and dedication to raising awareness on racial justice issues and advocating for minority students.
