Faculty Writing Group
Trying to finish your book? Writing an Op-ed or an article and looking for support on an article for publication? Need a community of scholars to share feedback and ideas? The Women’s Center sponsors a Faculty Writing Group to support faculty of any rank in advancing their scholarship. The group is faculty-led and meets monthly for collaborative writing and support. The Faculty Writing Group sponsors a annual retreat during winter break designed to help faculty advance their scholarship while building community with each other.
Meet the Facilitator
Dr. Rian Bowie is an Associate Teaching Professor in the English Department. Her research interests include African-American literature, American Women’s social movements, and American political satire.
