Women’s Health 101 is a workshop series designed for first year residence halls to provide education and resources around facets of gynecological health.

Topics include:

  • Menstrual Health
  • Reproductive Health
  • OBGYN Visits
  • Health & Wellbeing Campus Resources

Workshop will include a Q&A session with a student from Wake Forest School of Medicine.

Refreshments will be provided. Those who complete the workshop survey at the end of the session will be entered to win a Winston-Salem, women-owned business prize pack!

Program Goals:

  • Providing students with accurate knowledge to make informed decisions about their health and bodies.
  • Boosting self-esteem and confidence by addressing concerns related to menstruation, contraception, and overall health and wellbeing.
  • Facilitating a supportive network where students can connect, share experiences, and learn from one another.
  • Challenging societal taboos and stigmas surrounding women’s health by fostering open and inclusive conversations.
