Financial Empowerment Series with the Women’s Center

Women experience lifetime disparities when it comes to our finances — that means how much we make, how much we owe, and how much we can save.  These factors influence our ability to support ourselves, take care of our families, and contribute to our communities.

The goal of this series is to empower students to take control of their money and their lives.  We will meet weekly to reflect and discuss how our experiences and beliefs shape our behaviors and utilize tools to make more informed financial decisions.

Topics include: Spending histories and habits, understanding credit and debt, creating your personal spending and savings plan, long term financial goals, and action planning.

Dates: TBA

This series is open to undergraduate and graduate students of all genders.

Students who complete all sessions will be entered to win one of four $100 visa gift cards to spend, save, or invest.

SPACE IS LIMITED! To reserve your spot, register by October 8th.
