Wake Forest VS UNC tomorrow. It will be a big game so make sure to show up for support. There will also be a tailgate with free food and activities!!

See you there.

Here are FIVE reasons you should come to the Wake for Women field hockey tailgate tomorrow!

Today is Deacs Day of Giving! Consider supporting the Women’s Center. Since 2013, we have been supporting women and promoting gender equity. To give, click the link in our bio. Thank you for your support!

No boys/girls allowed? From fraternities and sororities to our very own Women’s Center, gendered spaces permeate through every corner of Wake Forest’s campus. Come join us as we discuss the merits, caveats, and consequences of gendered communities and how other identities we hold complicate these arenas. G-chat is our drop in dialogue space open to people of all genders. Food will be provided. See you Thursday @ 4pm.

Here at the Women’s Center, we serve students, faculty, and staff! We can never forget about our colleagues. Staff and faculty join us for Wake Up with the Women’s Center tomorrow at 10am. Let’s restore and recharge together! We’ll see you on Davis Field for group meditation and creating self-care toolkits.

Join us this Thursday, September 2nd for Wake for Women! We will be cheering on the women’s soccer team as they face Loyola. Come out and tailgate with us before the event with pizza and games! We’ll see you at 6 at Spry Stadium!

Welcome to Wake! Join us for the Women’s Center Open House on Thursday August 19th from 3-5. Come learn about us, meet some new people, and enjoy delicious ice cream. Students and families are welcome!

We are launching our second annual Feminist Book Club this July! We will meet for three sessions discussing the main themes of the book A Woman is No Man by Etaf Rum including islamophobia, domestic violence, and healing. If you’re interested, fill out the form in our bio.

Last, but certainly not least, in #seniorappreciationweek is Olivia Bayard! Olivia is an Economics major from Charlotte,NC. Olivia co-facilitated the Women’s Center first Financial Empowerment Series focused on budgeting and investing. We wish our multi-talented finance guru/published author well on her future journey!

Another addition to #seniorappreciationweek is Kiah Stith! Kiah majored in English with a minor in Global Trade and Commerce. Upon graduation, she will be working for North Carolina’s Department of Public Instruction in the State Superintendent’s Office. Her favorite part about working in the Women’s Center is participating in our G-Chats and reflecting on different aspects of herself. Kiah’s presence will be truly missed!
